The Church of St James the Greater, Leicester was one of the first parish churches to have a presence on the internet. Originally appearing on the 6th May 1997 the site continues to provide information for parishoners and visitors from around the world and still regularly receives a large number of "hits" every week.

This site has been built using the following tools and methodology
- The best text editor there is, Ultraedit
- PHP
- XHTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- SQL
Pages on this site have been validated for XHTML(strict) and CSS and should therefore work as expected in all modern webbrowsing software.
However, for the best experience, I recommend the use of Opera or Firefox.

Recordings
The recordings on this site were made using the following equipment.
- Sony ECM-MS907 stereo microphone
- An external pre-amplifier
- Sharp MD-MT80H minidisc recorder
These were then copied onto computer, via a modified Sony MDS-SP55 minidisc deck, using an digital optical interface, where they have been edited into separate tracks and in the case of the CD's, written using the NERO Burning ROM software.
Available CD's are registered under the MCPS limited availabilty licencing scheme.
